Dear Stakeholder,
Please be advised that the carriageway resurfacing job taking place on Church Road, Mannings Heath will not be completed today. The staggered junction at the Northern extents of the scheme will not be resurfaced because there is a fallen down tree on Winterpit Lane and flooding on Church Road. The section from A281 Brighton Road up to Winterpit Lane will be resurfaced today. Our contractor will look to book the remaining section into a gap in our programme for this financial year. However, dates and times are to be confirmed in due course. Please see attached design for reference.
Please note that these works are weather dependant and may be cancelled at short notice, but we will endeavour to inform you should there be significant changes to the programme.
This road closure is covered by the 14.1 order made on 11th January 2022.
